Unfortunate experience. Was told to come in today last week to get stitches out of my foot and that I didn't need an appointment, but was immediately turned away today at 5pm when they don't close until 8pm and online it says open and 30 minute wait time. Front desk lady yelled at the security guard for telling me to check in with her and yelled "you need to ask them what they're here for when they walk in" and was very rude to the poor security man who was very kind. I just said okay and walked out because I'm not gonna fight to be seen, but it was still a disappointing experience and left a bad taste in my mouth. They really helped me out a lot last week by seeing me last minute to get the stitches, so it's a shame that I was dismissed so bluntly today. Hoping to have a better experience in the future.

I presented with my 6 day history of a viral respiratory illness. Gave 1 star because a person HELPING the med tech performing the EKG introduced herself. And when I told them I had chest pain (my regret, should have said lung or pulmonary pain) they immediately turned the visit into chest pain protocol. I was not in that kind of distress, and I understand the liability. I understand busy as a hospital RN 44 yrs. EKG machine had issues, that took some time. Then bloodwork. Vein blew but ok, it happens. Thereafter was left in treatment room 45 min with no checking in on me. This was in addition to the over 1 hr wait in lobby. I was cold and tired even with a sweater and blanket. I opened the door and looked in hallway twice, I finally saw a woman in black scrubs down the hall and I called to her. She said βCan I help you?β I explained that I was waiting very long and she said that was a short wait for chest pain protocol. I then asked if she was the provider, she said yes and all my tests came back normal. She listened to my lungs. I requested she look in my ears as they had been hurting for 6 days. I had to request an inhaler as she told me I had a virus, instructed me to keep usin

Every time I have visited Wilmington Health's walk-in clinic, I have been treated with kindness, respect, and genuine care. From the moment I walk in, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and I never feel like just another patient. The wait times have always been reasonable, and the providers take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure I understand my treatment plan. It's comforting to know there is a place where you can receive excellent medical care without feeling rushed. I truly appreciate the professionalism, compassion, and dedication of everyone at Wilmington Health. Thank you for consistently providing exceptional care to our community.

Maybe a bit of an outlier condition because I got 'haired' by one of my tarantulas, tiny micro-sized barbs they can scuff off their abdomens if they feel threaten, which I guess she did as I did some tank tidying and water bowl changing. They fluff them into the air and unless you step back quickly some can get on your hands or arms (or much more seriously in your eyes). No eye situation for me but the spider must have got me good as a few days later my forearms and one shin came up in a bad immuno-allergy type reaction, vivid rash areas in reds, pinks and purples as these tiny barbs work into the skin. I mentioned a possible steroid cream but Ms. Coleman was concerned the reaction might need a stronger response and proposed a Prednisone 6-day course and an antibiotic cream. Fine by me and sure enough, 6 days later and things have quelled down nicely, actually stopped itching within the first couple of days of taking the Prednisone but you still have to complete the full course. Pleased to have used Today's Care and thanks to Bianca Coleman for promptly solving my tarantula issues.

Very little waiting time. I obtained an x-ray, ultrasound and blood tests for an arm injury in short order. As usual, excellent care from a well trained physicians assistant.
